Deal Breakers

Deal Breakers

When you live in a house full of girls, conversations about relationships are never missing. It may be about the reason for not liking the boy that likes you, or what you like about your cute crush. But today was different.

What’s a deal-breaker for you?

That was my ‘out of the blue’ question for my sisters tonight. I expected one answer, maybe two at the most, but I got a few more.

It turns out that there is always something, or in this case, many things that a person just won’t compromise on. It may be unreasonable to others, but for you, it is just what it is, a deal-breaker.

Miss A said she could not stand a guy who lies or keep secrets, and one whose values and beliefs are different from hers. She says any kind of abuse; verbal, physical, and monetary (looks like stinginess is a form of abuse)  is unwelcomed. She insists that a guy who wears ripped ‘tear tear’ jeans and isn’t ready to dash them out to the madmen on the street is a turn off as well.
“Oh, if his Mama hates me (for no reason of mine), and he can’t find a solution, it’s a deal-breaker o, I don’t want Mama problem” she quickly added.

Miss P said she won’t tolerate violence, cheating, and lying.  An earring wearing dude is a turn-off and so is dreadlocks. Drinking and smoking are deal breakers for her as well.

I’m curious to know yours. Please share it below.
