How Do You Deal With Unrequited Love?

“Love may have the longest arms, but it can still fall short of an embrace”

I wish there was a one-size-fits-all answer to this, but there is none. It’s really just different strokes for different folks.

You see, life can be unfair, and so can love. Everyone dream of a beautiful love story, where cupid hits two people, but sometimes, even cupid makes mistakes, and you find yourself pining for someone who doesn’t feel the same, even when there is another who is pinning for you.

Unrequited love is a difficult kind of love; your heart breaks all by itself, with no one to blame but yourself.

I often wonder how easier life will be if the heart can simply cooperate with the brain more. But the hearts wants who the heart wants right?

So what do you do when your love is not reciprocated?

Talk about it or keep your mouth shut?

Be persistent hoping they change their minds?

Stay friends or keep your distance?

Or just feel and wait for it to pass?
