What Lesson Has Life Taught You?
But life had a sense of humor; teaching me exactly what I hated to do.
Waiting!
I think that’s one of the toughest things in life. To just wait. To stand still, doing nothing, knowing there is really nothing you can do. That was a hard but great lesson.
I have never been one who liked to wait. I hated it. I wanted things done immediately, exactly the time I expected it to happen. Patience was one virtue that I didn’t possess. I always had a plan, closely followed by a plan on how to fix a plan, just to ensure nothing keeps me waiting.
But life had a sense of humor; teaching me exactly what I hated to do.
Life has taught me that waiting is a part of it, and that at some point in life, a period of waiting will come upon us. And when it does, waiting, we must.
